Alka Tolani, the designer behind the label Tolani, grew up in northeast India. Her signature style is a vivid combination of modern cuts and traditional, folkloristic elements - a style that arose inspired by her many travels in the Indian rural areas. Through her travels, she developed a passion for designs and fashion of different ethnic groups, leading Tolani towards creating fashion that embraces the traditional prints and patterns paired with timeless tailoring. Her designs are distinguished by striking prints, detail complexity and exciting color combinations.
