A designer label born from flea market fabrics and ripened over the decades to reach the universe of high fashion - Kenzo Takada literally worked his way up from the proverbial rags to riches. A company's history that sounds like a modern fairy tale. It's 1970, when Kenzo shows his first prêt-à-porter fashion show, it's 1983 when he launches his first men's collection, and soon after follow perfume lines, children's fashion and home collections. The hallmark of the Japanese-European fashion house are floral patterns, bright colors and flashy, mostly wide cuts.
